Vehicle Rental Terms & Conditions

At Aurora Camper, we do everything to make your journey through Norway comfortable, affordable, and unforgettable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The minimum notice period for shortening the rental duration is 30 days.
No refund will be issued for unused rental time (including late pick-up or early return).
Once the rental has started, these conditions remain in effect, as we won’t be able to rent the vehicle again.

  • If cancellation is made less than 30 days before the rental, 100% of the rental price will be charged.

  • If cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance, 100% of the rental price will be refunded.
    A 3% transaction fee may apply.

AGE & DRIVER’S LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

The driver must be at least 21 years old for camper rentals.
A valid driver’s license must have been held for at least one year prior to the rental.

RESERVATION

Our system will immediately show availability for your selected dates.
To guarantee your booking, prepayment is required.
If the desired vehicle is not available, please contact us — we’ll do our best to find a solution.

PAYMENT

When booking on our website, we charge 100% of the rental cost to your card.
Any remaining balance (if applicable) can be paid at pick-up — by card or cash (NOK, EUR, GBP, or USD).

A credit card is required at pick-up — even if the rental has been prepaid with a voucher.
It may be used to cover:

  • Additional insurance

  • Fines

  • Damages

  • Other costs related to the rental

Security deposit (motorhomes):
If you choose Free Insurance, we block a 16,000 NOK deductible for the insurance company.
If the vehicle is returned without damages, the deposit is refunded minus a 4% transaction fee (applies to both directions of the transfer).

PICK-UP & RETURN

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

  • Check-in (vehicle pick-up): from 14:00 (2:00 PM)

  • Check-out (vehicle return): until 12:00 (12:00 PM)

Please make sure to return the vehicle on time to avoid additional charges.
Late returns may be subject to a full extra day fee.

If you're arriving at the airport, we’ll offer you different pick-up options.
You will receive pick-up information via email 10 days before your rental begins.
Your booking confirmation will also include a phone number to contact us with questions about pick-up or return.

VEHICLE TYPES

If the selected model is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute it with a similar or higher class vehicle.
We guarantee the number of seats and beds, but the vehicle model and interior layout may differ from the images on our website.

FUEL

Vehicles are usually provided with a full tank. You must return it with a full tank.
If the tank was not full at the beginning, return it with the same level of fuel.
Failure to comply will result in an additional charge of 200 NOK.

TAXES & NO HIDDEN FEES

All prices include 25% VAT.
No hidden charges.
